1950s Hausmann & Co Lemania Monopusher Chronograph
It’s all about the dial.
$6,950
OVERVIEW
A watch famous for being designated to the British Royal Airforce and Navy as well other a few other militaries around the world, this particular example of a Series 2 Lemania Monopusher chronograph hasn’t seen any action. It was assembled, signed and sold by the historically prominent Roman retailer Hausmann & Co and features a beautiful and unique eggshell white dial with the most perfectly aged markers. Typically military versions of any watch are the most desirable but with its rare and absolutely stunning dial, this one takes the cake.
CONDITION NOTES
CASE: Excellent condition Hugenin Freres case with thick even lugs and sharp edges. Appears to never have been polished and very light wear consistent with every other part of the watch including the dial and movement.
DIAL & HANDS: Perfect and stunning eggshell white dial with perfectly aged markers and matching hands. Lume on hands have been stabilized with a binder.
MOVEMENT: Running decently for an old chrono with all functions working perfectly but could probably use a service in the near future. Would be happy to perform a service at my cost before delivery.
