1952 Rolex Datocompax 6036 “Jean Claude Killy” Triple Date Chronograph
Complicated & beautiful.
Price on request.
OVERVIEW
Quite possibly one of Rolex’s most elegant watches ever produced is also it’s most complicated. A triple-date chronograph is certainly meant to be as utilitarian as possible, yet Rolex somehow found to way to make it as beautiful as a watch can be, and with a quiet opulence. It’s said that only around 500 of the Rolex in steel were ever produced, which already makes it a very scarce watch. The number of untouched, all original examples in excellent condition that have survived over a span of over 70 years I’m sure is much less.
