If you ask vintage Rolex fans what their grail watch is, a high percentage of them would say a late 50’s gilt dial Rolex Submariner without crown guards. This 5508 is in stunning all coeval condition down to the red triangle bezel insert & big logo rivet bracelet, both of which make this particular piece ultra rare.

CONDITION NOTES

CASE: Sharp with even lugs and most importantly includes its original bezel and red triangle bezel insert.

DIAL: Damn near perfect with only slight radium deterioration only seen in certain angles of direct sunlight. Lume is all original and looks super clean.

HANDS: Excellent original long flat gilt hands with matching patina and original lume. Bonus points for its original white painted seconds hand.

MOVEMENT: Running smoothly and looks just as good as the rest of it.
