OVERVIEW
The very first GMT-Master Rolex ever produced, the 6542 is nicknamed “Pussy Galore” for it’s appearance in the James Bond film “Goldfinger”. This particular example was originally retailed by the famed Venezuelan retailer Serpico Y Laino and owned by a man who wore it all throughout his career working for Holland America Line, a cruise ship and transport company that took him all over the world.

CONDITION NOTES
CASE: Fantastic sharp case with obvious wear but no signs of polishing. Engraved with S&L Acero on the caseback and is barely visible but it’s there.
DIAL: Galvanic gilt dial has spidered with cracks over time which is natural and normal for these watches and there are light patches of tropical brown towards the bottom right quadrant.
HANDS: Excellent and original flat gilt handset with matching color and original lume. Overall condition matches the rest of the watch.
MOVEMENT: Service history isn’t known but it is keeping time very well and original movement is in excellent shape
