1969 Rolex GMT-Master 1675 Stella Dial “Concorde”

Supersonic.

$43,950

OVERVIEW

Featured in the now iconic Rolex advertisement campaign released in conjunction with the Concorde jet’s very first flight, the most notable detail about this 1675 isn’t just the straight stick hands only used on early gold GMT’s, but also the glossy brown “Stella” dial that was included as well. Subsequent iterations of the 18k gold Rolex 1675 came with a matte dial and Mercedes hands. While any gold Rolex GMT has a rakish charm to it, these early ones have just the right amount of extra sex appeal.

CONDITION NOTES

CASE: Sharp and professionally polished in the past. All engravings are prominent and no corrosion anywhere.

DIAL & HANDS: Glossy Stella dial is in excellent condition with light even patina throughout. Very small mark to the left of “OYSTER”. Original Concorde hands are in excellent condition as well.

MOVEMENT: Running optimally with high accuracy and amplitude.
