1970 Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69ST w/ DON Bezel
Aged gracefully.
$10,450
OVERVIEW
The Omega Speedmaster 69st is a transitional model produced from 1969-1971 and is the second Speedmaster to use the 861 caliber movement while being the first to have the printed logo dial Omega continued to use for the next few decades. This one is in perfect vintage condition in my opinion, which means the dial and hands are untouched, the lume has aged to a warm tone, the case is worn but sharp and the bracelet is tight. It’s like when you see someone pushing 60 years old who has obviously exercised their whole life, ate well, wore sunscreen, and took great care of themselves, while never bothering to get any cosmetic work done. It’s as honest and natural as it gets.
CONDITION NOTES
CASE: Fantastic original condition and I’m confident enough to say that it’s never been polished before. The original dot over 90 (DON) bezel is also in excellent shape with only minor paint loss. Caseback is engraved with USH III. The original bracelet is also unpolished and is in superb condition.
DIAL & HANDS: Perfect dial and lume. The original hands are also perfect with matching yellow patina.
MOVEMENT: Pristine condition and running great. All functions are in ideal working condition.
