If you’re fortunate enough to have multiple watches and own this watch as well, you’re going to find that you won’t wear the others nearly as much as this one. It won’t just be a honeymoon phase either… years will go by and you will have worn this black Daytona a substantial amount of times. You’ll get dressed, open your safe, look at your collection and just say to yourself “Yeah, OK” and put it on for the day. It’s dressy when you want it to be dressy, and sporty when you want it to be sporty. It has a minimal design, but the stark white subdials over the matte black dials give it the right amount of flair. It looks just as fantastic on its oyster bracelet as it does on a tan strap. It looks great on a jubilee bracelet too (I can sell you one of those).

There’s a reason why it’s the ultimate grail watch for so many people. It literally looks with everything.

CONDITION NOTES

CASE: Lightly polished in the past featuring sharp, thick and even lugs and correct original bakelite bezel. Bezel has no cracks or delamination which is supremely rare to find. Correct original MK2 pushers.

DIAL: Stunning sigma reverse panda black dial. All original lume plots are in tact and a nice shade of custard. Subdials are fantastic.

HANDS: Original hands in good condition with normal corrosion and lume matching the dial.

MOVEMENT: Clean movement with no corrosion. Needs a service which will be performed before delivery.
