The Rolex 1680 Sub with white print is the best vintage Sub you can buy for the money. Sure the red print on the earlier models is super appealing, but the price is substantially higher and a 5513 maxi dial in the same condition is a lot more too. I’ve never understood why the disparity is so great between these, but a white 1680 has always seemed like a bargain to me and I think it still is.

This watch is charming, reliable, durable, accurate, versatile, comfortable, and waterproof all In a vintage package. It’s beautiful, yet so much less flashy than a new Submariner.

CASE: Sharp & thick. Expertly polished in the past but maintains the shape of an original case.

DIAL: Stunning original dial with no signs of damage, abuse, or neglect. Nice creamy original lume.

HANDS: Excellent original handset with matching patina and lume. Normal patina on the steel of the hands.

MOVEMENT: Running optimally and in clean condition with high amplitude and accuracy.
