OVERVIEW

The Rolex 5513 Maxi dials are the last versions of the matte dial no-date Submariners and are called such because of their large lume plots in comparison to the previous generations. The MK3 (Mark 3) is known as having the largest lume plots of any 5513 Submariners and has become the most in-demand matte dial version the the 5513. Because of this, all the best examples have been snatched up by shrewd collectors and just get increasingly harder to find year after year. As luck would have it, this one being presented is in the most elite condition.

CONDITION NOTES

CASE: Sharp, thick & unpolished. Some regular wear but absolutely fantastic.

DIAL: Stunning dial with perfect yellow tritium patina on the markers and no signs of damage or abuse. Excellent handset with matching patina and original lume. Seconds hand has some minor corrosion but it only adds to it’s charm.

MOVEMENT: Running optimally and in clean condition.
