1987 Rolex Submariner 5513 WGS Gloss Dial w/ Box & Papers

$15,950
OVERVIEW
The Rolex 5513 Submariner was produced until 1990 and this last dial variation features a glossy dial with white gold marker surrounds as opposed to its matte or gilt dial forefathers. There are some people who would say that the latest version of the Rolex 5513 is the best version of the reference. While I can’t personally pick a favorite between the generations, I will say that when these later ones have any sort of patina they are absolutely fabulous and a better value price wise than a similar condition matte or gilt dial. Being in perfect vintage condition with a full set is pretty nice as well.
CONDITION NOTES
CASE: Sharp, thick & unpolished. Some regular wear but absolutely fantastic.
DIAL: Stunning dial with vibrant light yellow tritium patina on the markers and no signs of abuse or negligence. No cracks or spidering. Extremely glossy without the bubbling that can occur around the markers, only some very light reaction to the tritium from the hour hand since its the closest hand to the dial seen from limited angles. Excellent handset with matching patina and original lume.
MOVEMENT: Running optimally and in clean condition.
