OVERVIEW

One of the coolest references Cartier has ever made in steel is this limited edition Santos Galbee LM for the 2002 SIHH trade show in Singapore. Only 2000 of these were produced (why not make two more?) and as such, they’ve always been a bit difficult to find. The sunburst grey dial with lumed Roman markers is so stunning and unique, but my favorite thing about this Santos Galbee: no date window.

CONDITION NOTES

CASE: Sharp, even, and thick with the integrated bracelet sitting perfectly flush with the midcase. Most Cartier Santos’ you see in general are overpolished with rounded and uneven bezels. Not this one.

DIAL: Untouched.

HANDS: Also untouched.

MOVEMENT: Service history is unknown, but is keeping time well with precise timing and decent amplitude.
