2012 H. Moser & Cie Endeavor Mayu Palladium Fume Small Seconds Dial Full Set

The closer you look the more interesting it gets.

OVERVIEW

Known for its irreverent approach to watchmaking, H. Moser & Cie. takes a more restrained direction with the Mayu. Introduced in 2006 and named for Heinrich Moser’s wife, Charlotte Mayu, the watch distills the brand’s philosophy into an elegant, minimalist package.

Its grey fumé dial transitions from dark at the edges to lighter at the center, creating a subtle smoky effect. Slender baton markers, feuille hands, and a recessed small seconds sub-dial reinforce its understated design.

The 39mm palladium case is an unusual choice in watchmaking, offering the look of platinum while being lighter and highly scratch-resistant. Its polished finish and compact proportions give the watch a comfortable, refined presence on the wrist.

Inside is H. Moser & Cie.’s hand-wound HMC 325.503-10, featuring a proprietary Straumann hairspring and Breguet overcoil, along with an 80-hour power reserve. The beautifully finished movement features Geneva stripes, sharp anglage, and black polishing, making the Mayu as interesting underneath as it is restrained on the wrist.
